Our Mission: To deliver the highest quality service by protecting our community through risk reduction, emergency response, and public service.

Our Vision: We are committed to become a nationally recognized, full-service Fire Department.

Our Core Values: Service Partnership Integrity Respect Innovation Trust

Arson is the leading cause of property loss due to fire.  Over a half million arson fires, including 100,000 building fires, cost our nation more than $2 billion annually and kill over 700 people.  It costs our communities so much more!  One-fourth of all fires are arson and over one-half of them are set by juveniles. Arson is a very serious crime and could be fatal. Abilene may not seem like a large enough city to have a problem with arson, but Fire investigators from your Abilene Fire Department stay busy with many duties, including arson investigation and prosecution. If you have any information, questions or concerns about arson, contact The Abilene Fire Department at 325-676-6434 or Crime Stoppers 325-676-TIPS (8477) If you are outside of the Abilene area, you can also contact the Texas Arson Hotline 1-877-434-7345
